Time to get this new football series going. To get it started I am going with running back transfer Jordan Cronkrite who is ready to take over after sitting out last year.

The first player I want to highlight is junior running back Jordan Cronkrite (5’11” 207 lbs.). Cronkrite sat out last year after transferring from Florida, but now he is ready to take the field and could be a huge weapon both in the ground and passing game.

At Florida, back in 2016, the former 4-star prospect had 31 carries for 145 yards and a touchdown. Cronkrite was battling for carries (ton of depth on their roster at running back) and decided to leave and now has a chance to be the bell cow back for the Bulls this year now that Darius Tice and D’Ernest Johnson are gone.

Cronkrite had a solid spring and will likely split carries with other running backs (more on that later on in this series), but I see Cronkrite as the feature back and being hungry on the field after sitting and watching for a year. Again, he will being splitting carries, but this is to keep the backs healthy. When it comes to taking the majority of the snaps, I really think Cronkrite is the man and is poised for a big year in 2018. With his combination of power and speed, Cronkrite will be fun to watch in 2018.
