The Bulls, 32-22 (9-7), fell 3 to 1 to Houston in the middle game of this 3-game series to close out the regular season on the road.

In the 2nd inning, the Bulls were down 3 to 0 quickly. In the 4th, Bethaney Keen doubled in Lauren Evans to put USF on the board at 3 to 1, but that would be the only run the Bulls could get across as they had just 3 total hits for the game. Yeah, can’t beat many teams like that when the offense is just not clicking at all.

Kristen Wyckoff was 0 for 3 with a strike out (when she can’t get on base, this offense just stalls out). Keen was 1 for 2 overall with the lone RBI. Lauren Evans was 1 for 3 and scored the run.

Kalen McGill (11-7) went 2.2 innings, allowing 6 hits, 3 runs and walked one batter in a short outing for her. Susan Wysocki pitched well in relief, going 3.1 innings, allowing 2 walks and struck out 2 batters.

USF will finish the regular season on Sunday at 1 PM against these game Houston Cougars. Let’s hope the offense comes to the park for the regular season finale and helps send the Bulls into the AAC tournament with some momentum.
