Per Jeff Goodman – Per the report, Coach Gregory is adding another player in former Gardner Webb point guard Laquincy Rideau to the roster. Joey Knight also confirmed the report

The 6’1″ 210 lb. sophomore guard will have to sit out this year but will be eligible for two years after that. Last year for Gardner Webb, Rideau averaged 14 PPG, 7 APG, and 6 RPG and could be a potential starter at point guard for the Bulls. Rideau is from West Palm Beach, FL (Blanche Ely HS), so he is moving at least a little closer to home.

So how does the pieced together roster now look like, well here is my best guess (thanks to Knight for putting this together at the start to track it all):

G Payton Banks, Gr-Transfer (Penn State)
G/F Justin Brown, Fr.
SG David Collins – Fr.
F Tulio Da Silva, R-So.
G Troy Holston Jr., R-Jr.
PG Stephan Jiggetts, Gr-Transfer (Fairleigh Dickinson)
G TJ Lang, Jr. (Auburn transfer)
F Isaiah Manderson, Sr.
C Malik Martin, R-Jr.
PG Laquincy Rideau, SO (Gardner Webb)
G Terrence Samuel, Gr-Transfer (Penn State)
C Nikola Scekic
F Alexis Yetna, Fr.

So far, Coach Gregory and his staff have added a lot of different players. Jiggetts, banks, and Samuel are all one and done for this roster, so the team needs players after that. Enter Yetna, Collins, and Brown that are all pure freshmen. Then we have Rideau and Banks that have to sit this year but once the graduate transfers leave, will be eligible right away for the roster.

If this all works out, everyone gets here, and it all goes according to plan, this is pretty darn impressive to see how the staff has put together a roster and it seems to have the right parts to at least, at the minimum, be competitive from the jump.
