Kofi Amichia drafted by the Green Bay Packers

A third Bull heard his name called on Saturday in the 6th round (212 overall) of the NFL draft as the Green Packers took offensive lineman Kofi Amichia. The two year starter at left tackle is projected to move inside to the guard position and has the size and skill set to make it happen. Having Kofi protect Aaron Rodgers is fun to think about.
Amichia is the third Bull to be taken today after Marlon Mack (Colts) and Rodney Adams (Vikings) were taken earlier in the day.
Rodney Adams drafted by the Minnesota Vikings

The second USF player of the day has been taken in the 5th round (170th overall) with wide receiver Rodney Adams going to the Minnesota Vikings. The speedy receiver could be a fun one to watch for the Vikings with his ability to accelerate after the watch, the ability to get to the edge on the jet sweep, and the potential to be a return threat at the next level. I wish Rodney the best moving forward.
Marlon Mack drafted in 4th round by Indianapolis Colts

Well, it took longer than many had projected, but Marlon Mack has been selected in the 4th round of the 2017 Draft (143 overall) by the Indianapolis Colts. Many had projected Mack to be a possible 2nd or 3rd round pick, but after several running backs went before him, Mack had to wait till day 3 to hear his name called. This is a great place for Mack with Andrew Luck in the backfield with him and the chance for early playing time because of the Colts’ need for a running back. I can’t wait to see what Mack does and wish him nothing but the best moving forward with his pro career.
USF baseball falls to Houston

Phoenix Sanders struggled, giving up a few home runs, in the series opening loss to Houston.
The Bulls, 32-10 (7-6), fell 7 to 3 in the first game of the three game series against Houston. The Cougars hits the long ball and it hurt the Bulls as their offense, without Kevin Merrell again, could not answer them back. (more…)
