Time to take care of business.

The Bulls, 21-6 (10-4), are on the road again as they take on Tulsa (game begins at 3 PM EST). The Golden Hurricanes are 8-19 (4-10) on the year and have lost 5 in a row. USF beat them 84 to 68 back on January 7th.

USF is averaging 72 PPG and allowing 59.2 PPG entering this game. Tulsa is averaging 63.5 PPG while allowing 71 PPG.

The Golden Hurricanes are led by junior guard Erika Wakefield (5’4″) who is averaging 11.4 PPG, 2.9 RPG, leads the team with 88 assists (73 turnovers), and has 37 steals on the year. She had 10 points and 3 rebounds in the first meeting. Freshman guard Shug Dickson (5’9″) is averaging 9.1 PPG (25 for 87 from 3-point range), 3.7 RPG with 14 steals on the year. She had 11 points and 5 rebounds in the first meeting. Rounding out their top scoring threats that the Bulls have to watch out for is freshman forward Kendrian Elliott (6’2″) is averaging 9.1 PPG, 7.9 RPG, with 21 blocks, and 15 steals. She had 14 points and 5 rebounds in the first game.

Tulsa is having a really bad year, but is looking for an upset. USF on the other hand just got back in the win column on Tuesday night with a big win on the road at Houston. After losing two straight, the Bulls needed a win and they got it, now, they need another one against a team they should roll past. Kitija Laksa went off in the first meeting with 37 points and was 7 for 14 from 3-point range. USF need her to go off again and leading the way as the Bulls prepare for the regular season finale against Uconn. No looking ahead, take care of business, and get it done.
