Ryeshene Bronson became a reliable target last year in the passing game. 2016 should be a break out year for him, but there is a lot of depth on the roster that he will have to beat out for the starting job.
Sorry these haven’t been posting for the last few days. We are getting back to work!
#81 Ryeshene Bronson – 6’3″ 200 lbs. – Junior – Wide receiver – Fort Myers, FL (Dunbar HS)
2015: Bronson started 11 games last year (played in all 13 games). He recorded 17 receptions for 258 yards and a touchdown last year.
Recruiting history: Bronson was a 4-star recruit (per ESPN) and is the cousin of NFL receiver Sammy Watkins. In his senior season in high, he had 45 receptions for 740 yards and 8 touchdowns and ran a 10.9 in the hundred meter dash. He had offers from FSU, Auburn, UF, and Virginia Tech, among others.
2016 Projection: Bronson is listed as the number two receiver behind AJ Legree coming out of the spring, but it must be noted Bronson was limited all spring with a lower body injury that slowed him down and allowed others to move ahead of him on the first spring depth chart. With that said, entering the fall, if Bronson is healthy, he will push for the starting job. He is a big receiver that has the speed to take the top off of a defense and could be a big home run threat in the passing game for the Bulls (vertical threats are always fun). I am eager to see what he can once healthy and ready to get back out there at full strength.
