Jordan Reed took the field last year as a true freshman at the slot receiver position and will be looking to make a bigger impact in 2016.
#82 Jordan Reed – 5’10” 170 lbs. – Sophomore – Wide receiver – Tampa, FL (Plant HS)
2015: Reed appeared in 8 games last year (no starts) and had 4 receptions for 18 yards including one touchdown.
Recruiting history: Reed was a 3-star recruit in the 2015 class (per Rivals). He recorded 304 punt return yards in his senior season. He also went for 613 reception yards during his junior season with 4 touchdowns as well. He had offers from Cincinnati and Utah, among others.
2016 Projection: Reed is listed as the number 3 slot receiver on the post-spring depth chart, behind Rodney Adams and Chris Barr entering the summer and into the fall. Reed is a fast, shifty receiver that can help in this up-tempo offense for the Bulls and could even get a look in the return game. I hope the Bulls are able to find a way to get the ball to him, whether on offense or on special teams, he can be explosive out there and is just another weapon for the USF offense.
