The Bulls, 41-11 (13-1), won 9 to 6 over Tulsa. USF had to rally as they were down 6 to 1 early in the game but they got it done as they continue stay at the top of the AAC standings.

USF was down 6 to 1 as Tulsa jumped on Susan Wysocki who started the game. The offense, thanks to the bat of Lee Ann Spivey who hit her 12th home run of the year, got the Bulls to back into it. They scored 5 runs in the 5th inning and then 3 in the 7th inning to complete the rally and the victory. It was a wild game, but the Bulls were able to get it done proving this team is just on a roll right now.

Kristen Wyckoff was 1 for 3 with a run scored. Juli Weber had a monster game going 3 for 4 with 3 RBIs overall while hitting her 5th home run of the season. Lauren Evans was 2 for 3 and scored a run. Lee Ann Spivey was 2 for 3 overall with 3 RBIs total along with her 12th home that has reset the program record. Astin Donovan was 2 for 3 and scored a run as well. The offense was able to strike big time late in the game and it carried the Bulls to the victory. They made it happen at the plate in this one.

Susan Wysocki went 1 inning, allowing 4 hits, 6 runs, and walked 2 batters as the Golden Hurricanes made life tough for her from the start. Cheyenne Eggens went 3.2 innings in relief, allowing 2 hits, 1 walk and struck out 1 batter. Erica Nunn (24-7) went 2.1 innings in relief, allowing 4 hits and struck out one batter. Nunn again got the victory, but Eggens did a great job in relief to keep the Bulls in the game after a roughs start.

The two sides will play their final game on Sunday at 1 PM as USF goes for the sweep.
