The Bulls, 17-18 (3-5), fell 4 to 0 to Central Florida in the middle game of the 3-game series. USF could not get anything going on offense in this one as the bats went silent.

The Bulls managed just 3 hits in the game, one each coming from Duke Stunkel, Tyler Dietrich, and one from Jonah Garrison. They just had no answer at the plate in this game. They left 8 on base total, so there were chances with men on the base pads, but no one on this insanely young batting order could come through in a clutch situation.

Brandon Lawson (3-3) went 7 innings, allowing 7 hits, 4 runs, walked 2 batters and struck out 7 batters. Dylan Burns pitched a scoreless inning. Lawson wasn’t that bad out there, but they just had nothing going on offense in this game to battle back. It was just one of those days, it happens, can’t dwell on it too long moving forward.

The two teams will battle it out tomorrow at 1 PM in the series finale. The Bulls really need to get the offense corrected and get something going tomorrow. If they are able to take the series tomorrow it would be huge moving into the week before Bethune Cookman comes to town on Tuesday night. For now, time to put this game into the records and prepare for tomorrow.
