The Bull, 30-9 (4-0), made it 22 straight as they beat Houston tonight 4 to 0. Erica Nunn threw a 2-hit shut out and Mia Fung had the big blast to help lift the Bulls to another victory.

In the 2nd, the Bulls went up 1 to 0 after Lee Ann Spivey scored on a sac fly, getting the Bulls on the board early. In the 4th, Mia Fung hit a 2-run home run to make it 3 to 0. In the 6th, Lauren Evans was able to single and allowed Fung to score, making it 4 to 0 late in the game, extending that lead just a bit more. That last run from Fung would be it for either side as the Bulls did just enough at the plate tonight to help support Nunn.

Lee Ann Spivey was 2 for 3 and scored 2 runs. Mia Fung was 1 for 1 overall with that big 2-run shot and scored 2 runs overall in the game (she has become quite the power bat in the order). Kristen Wyckoff was 1 for 2 with a walk. Lauren Evans was 1 for 2 with 2 RBIs as well. The offense did just enough and came through with the clutch hits when they needed them.

Erica Nunn (16-5) was masterful again. She went a complete game, allowing just 2 hits over 7 innings and struck out 5 batters. The senior has really become a dominate arm for this pitching staff this year and it was on display again to help the Bulls keep this incredible streak going.

The two teams will battle tomorrow at 5 PM as USF will try to make it 23 in a row. It should be noted that there is a lot of rain expected in the Tampa area tomorrow, so that is something everyone needs to keep an eye on before heading to the stadium.
