The Bulls, 3-1, are on the road as they take on St. John’s (game begins at 2 PM). SJU is 3-1 on the season and will prove to be a tough test for the Bulls in this game.

USF enters the game averaging 74.2 PPG (opponents average 63.2 PPG) and average 45 RPG (opponents average 36.8 RPG). The Red Storm average 68.2 PPG and allow 61.2 PPG and also average 37 RPG while allowing 39.2 RPG. USF should be in for a tough defensive battle, might should have the advantage in the rebounding game.

SJU is led by senior guard Danaejah Grant (5’9″) who is averaging 17.8 PPG, 6.5 RPG, and has 7 steals on the season. Senior guard Aliyyah Handford (5’9″) is averaging 14.8 PPG, 4 RPG and has 7 steals as well. Junior guard Aaliyah Lewis (5’5″) is averaging 6.3 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and has 18 assists (5 turnovers) and has 5 steals on the season. A key player off the bench is junior forward Jade Walker (6’1″) averages 15 PPG, 5 RPG, and has 2 steals (1 assist to 10 turnovers). A key thing to note is the size of the SJU lineup that goes with a lot of smaller guards compared to the USF lineup that can match up with them but also have the size in the paint to take advantage on the boards.

This game will be a tough challenge and could be a low scoring game. Courtney Williams, who is averaging 28 PPG and 9 RPG, along with Alisia Jenkins who is averaging 11.8 PPG and 13.5 RPG (6 blocks and 7 steals on the season) must lead the way for the Bulls to get the job done. It won’t be easy, but USF has the firepower to get it done.
