USF volleyball beats SMU

The Bulls, 11-20 (8-11), beat SMU in 4 sets today (25 to 20, 25 to 23, 23 to 25, and 25 to 22) in a nice upset victory late in the year. USF came out firing and was able to put it away late in the match. 

USF was hitting .293 in the 4th set while SMU was hitting just .189. The Bulls were just able to get it done late in the match to take it on the road in what could be one of the bigger wins of the season.

Dakota Hampton had 15 kills and 20 digs in the match. Denise Belcher had 17 kills and 2 digs, helping out big in the match. Clara Payne had 13 kills and 5 total blocks. Molly Burkhardt had 22 assists and 5 digs in the game. Joli Holland had 10 kills and a dig. Natalia Soares had 29 assists and Wylie Devlin had 22 digs in the match to end the game for the Bulls.

The Bulls will end the regular season on Friday at Tulsa (game begins at 3 PM).
