The Bulls, 10-20 (7-11), won big on senior day, 3 sets to 1 (25 to 12, 25 to 19, 22 to 25, and 26 to 24), in a big win for the Bulls as they got that elusive double digit victory on the year. The Bulls dominated from the start and were able to pull off the upset.
USF hit the high mark in the 2nd set, hitting .324 and finished the match at a .269 mark while the Tigers had a .184 mark (were hitting .068 in the 2nd set). USF was fired up for their seniors and they left it all on the court.
Dakota Hampton went off with 21 kills (.453 hitting percentage), 16 digs, and 5 total blocks. Denise Belcher backed her up with 16 kills and 3 digs. Priscilla Ehieze had 9 kills and Joli Holland had 7 kills, 2 assists and 2 digs. The seniors also went out with big games themselves. Natalia Soares had 30 assists and 11 digs. Wylie Devlin had 24 digs and Olga Morekhodova had 20 assists and 4 digs (got more playing time in this game because it was their special day on the court). It was just a solid game from everyone to help secure this win.
The Bulls will hit the road now for the final two games of the year, starting with a game at SMU on the 25th (game begins at 3 PM).
