The Bulls, 9-20 (6-11), fell in 4 sets to Cincinnati as the long season continues. The Bulls posted a .200 hitting percentage at the end of the match, but it was just not enough to take down the Bearcats. The double-digit win total continues to elude the Bulls at this point.
Dakota Hampton had 12 kills and 20 digs as she continues her strong season for the Bulls. Denise Belcher had 16 kills and 3 digs in the game. Priscilla Ehieze had 8 kills and 4 blocks. Natalia Soares had 23 assists and 7 digs in one of her last home games in her historic career. Wylie Devlin had 22 digs. Alex Mendoza had 21 assists and 8 digs. The Bulls were in this game, but as we have seen all season, they just didn’t have enough down the stretch to hang in the match and steal the victory. It has been a frustrating ride to the end with this group. Talent is there, but the results have yet to show themselves.
The Bulls will host Memphis on Sunday for senior day (game is at 1 PM) as they try to get a final win in the Corral. Let’s just get that double digit mark, please?
