It’s senior day for the USF Bulls. As they take the court one last time this year in the regular season, USF will honor its two seniors that are suiting up for the last time. Here is a tribute to these young ladies.
#12 Jennica Mullins – 6’1″ – Middle blocker – Seminole, FL (Northside Christian HS) (Winthrop University)
Mullins played her first two years at American University before transferring back closer to home at USF. Last year she played in all 32 games, adding 161 kills and 123 blocks. She ranked 7th in the AAC for blocks per set and became a solid front line player for the Bulls. Entering the last two games of the regular season, Mullins had played in 115 sets this year. She had totaled 156 kills (1.36 kills per set). She had added 6 assists, 11 digs, and 146 blocks, totaling 238 points on the year. She has been a great player over the past two years, stepping up at the net and giving the Bulls a big time defender and striker on offense.
#22 Bree Scarbrough – 6’1″ – Middle blocker/Right side hitter – Sarasota, FL (Riverview HS) (American University)
This is Scarbrough’s first and only year with the Bulls after spending the first three years of her collegiate career at American University. Entering the final two games, Scarbrough has played in 97 sets this year. She has totaled 166 kills (1.71 kills per set) with 43 digs and 77 blocks. She has been a valuable reserve and starter this year for the Bulls. We wish we had a few more years with her and Jennica to tear up the nets!
Thank you seniors for everything.
