USF volleyball takes on Tulane

It’s the last road game of the year as the Bulls take on Tulane (game begins at 2 PM). USF is 12-17 (6-11) on the year as they face a 5-24 (3-14) Green Wave team (4-8 at home). USF beat Tulane in 3 sets back on October 24th back in Tampa.

Tulane is led by freshman right side hitter Sarah Ray. She has 311 kills, 23 service aces (63 service errors), 274 digs, and has 63 blocks on the year. She had 5 kills and 6 digs in the first game. Sophomore outside hitter Tea Juric has 299 kills, 274 digs, and 49 blocks on the year. She led Tulane with 13 kills in the first game. Sophomore middle blocker Sarah Strasner has 173 kills, 27 digs, and a team leading 105 blocks on the year. He had 2 kills and 2 blocks in the first meeting. Sophomore setter Ally Frank has 21 kills, 715 assists, and 244 digs on the year. She had 11 assists and 2 digs in the first game. Rounding out their roster is senior outside hitter/libero Grace Weaver who has 27 assists and 244 digs on the year. She had 7 digs and 2 service aces in the first game.

USF had 3 players in double digits in total kills. Erin Fairs, Dakota Hampton, and Priscilla Ehieze all had big games for the Bulls as they dominated the entire match. They will need another strong performance from all of them if they want to get the road win to end the traveling portion of the regular schedule. Let’s get the win ladies!
