The Bulls beat Tulane in 5 sets (15 to 25, 25 to 22, 24 to 26, 25 to 23, and 15 to 12). The win puts USF at 13-17 (7-11) on the year after they were able to handle a tough Tulane squad that was fired up for their senior day.
Jennica Mullins had 8 kills. Erin Fairs led the way for USF with 20 kills, 15 digs, and 2 service aces. Dakota Hampton had 9 kills, 3 service aces, and 13 digs. Alexus Heidelberg had 4 kills and 3 digs while Amy Van Sant added 8 digs and 2 assists. Wylie Devlin had 16 digs and an assist. Alex Mendoza had a monster game with 3 kills, 49 assists, and 9 digs to round out the strong win for the Bulls in the last road game of the year.
USF will return home for the final two games of the year, first with Memphis on Wednesday night (game begins at 7 PM).
