The Bulls will wrap up their quick 2-game home stand as they take on Tulsa (game begins at noon). USF is 11-16 (5-10) and hoping to pick up a solid win late in the year. Tulsa, 18-8 (10-5) is coming off of an upset win over UCF and will be ready for this game.
Tulsa is led by sophomore outside hitter Erica Bohannon who leads the team with 398 kills, 24 service aces, 160 digs, and 49 blocks. She had 17 kills and 8 digs in the first game between the two sides, a game the Bulls won in 4 sets. Senior outside hitter Valerie El Houssine (former Bull) has 272 kills, 43 service aces, and 300 digs on the year. Sophomore defensive specialist/libero Brooke Berryhill hs 74 assists and 479 digs on the year. She had 22 digs and 7 assists in the first game. Senior setter Bailey Clampitt has 15 kills, 1030 assists, and 34 service aces on the year. She had 39 assists and 10 digs in the first game.
USF was led by Erin Fairs (12 kills and 16 digs) and Dakota Hampton (12 kills and 19 digs) in the first meeting and will need to rely on both of them again. The Bulls have a had a long year and a losing season could be close, so if they want to pull some upsets late in the year and get some confidence heading to the AAC tournament, they need a game like this.
