USF Volleyball falls to SMU

The Bulls fell in 4 sets (24 to 26, 25 to 20, 21 to 25, 10 to 25) to SMU tonight, dropping their record to 11-16 (5-10) on the year. USF has finished the last two years at 17-15 so its the first time they have hit the 16 loss mark in a while.

Adyson Goodnight had 5 kills in the game. Erin Fairs had her most monster game of the year with 20 kills and 35 digs (come on!). Jennica Mullins had 3 kills and 5 blocks. Dakota Hampton (back after a few games missed had 3 kills and 6 digs. Alex Mendoza had a strong game with 27 assists and 10 digs. Natalia Soares had 8 assists and 5 digs. Wylie Devlin had 14 digs and 2 assists to round out the night for the Bulls.

USF battled but ran out of steam late in the game. They will try to bounce back against Tulsa on Sunday at noon.
