For the 2nd straight year, USF is heading to the AAC championship after beating Uconn on penalty kicks. After two scoreless halves and overtimes, the Bulls will play for the tournament title Sunday (game is at noon).

Spasoje Stefanovic made 4 saves during the game and helped anchor a back line that faced 16 shots to just 3 total for the USF offense that struggled to get moving in this game. The keeper of the year came up big and held the Bulls in this game for the entire way. The PKs for USF were sharp while the Huskies failed to convert on their chances in the final period of the game.

The Bulls will face Tulsa on Sunday afternoon (noon) for the AAC championship game. Stay tuned for more.
