USF MSoccer falls 1 to 0 to Uconn in regular season finale

The Bulls fell 1 to 0 in the last regular season game of the year, dropping their record to 9-7-1 (4-3-1). The offense again couldn’t figure out anything and the defense was forced to keep the Bulls in the game the entire time.

The Huskies went up 1 to 0 in the 30th minute in the game. USF led the Huskies in total shot attempts 12 to 3 but they couldn’t get anything to go through. They had several looks, but the Uconn defense and the play of their goal keeper kept the USF offense off of the board. Spasoje Stefanovic had 1 save in the game and the defense for USF played well overall, but the offense couldn’t come up with anything for them.

USF will now wait to see who they will host in the AAC tournament in a week. Hopefully they are able to figure out the offensive issues before the tournament starts and get things going again.
