The Bulls fell in 5 sets on the road to UCF, dropping their overall record to 9-14 (3-8) on the season. USF rallied back from down 2 sets to start the match, but were not able to come up late in the final set for the victory.

Erin Fairs had a monster game with 27 kills and 11 digs. Dakota Hampton added 10 kills and 10 digs as well (Joli Holland added 7 kills). Amy Van Sant had 8 digs and 4 assists. Natalia Soares had 22 kills and 8 digs during the match. Freshman Alex Mendoza added 26 assists and 6 digs in the losing effort as well. As a team, USF hit .170 for the entire match, but UCF hit for .274 behind a 22 kill effort of Jale Hervey.

USF will return home to take on ECU on Sunday at noon. There are only 9 regular season games left. If USF wants to get over .500, they will have to put together a huge late season run at this stage.
