The Bulls won a big game tonight, beating Cincinnati 4 to 2. The win pushes USF to 10-6-1 (5-3) on the season as they come to the end of the regular season. There is just one more game to go for the Bulls.
USF struck first with a goal in the 2nd minute from Leticia Skeete. The Bulls would add another in the 5th minute on a goal from Kate Loye, assisted from Sarah Miller making it 2 to 0. Cincinnati would add a goal to make it 2 to 1 heading into the half. In the 2nd half, the Bulls made it 3 to 1 on a goal from Sarah Miller (assist from Olivia Chance and Payton Cook). Cincinnati added a goal late to make it 3 to 2 but the USF offense wasn’t done. In the 79th minute USF added one more goal from Ocean Parr making it 4 to 2, ending the game for the Bulls. Katarina Elliott didn’t record a save but played well in the game, only giving up two goals with one on a penalty kick. The defense is playing well.
USF will host ECU on Sunday at 1 PM as they host the Pirates on Senior Day. Let’s hope they can get the win in that game.
