The USF Bulls, 8-4-1 (3-1-1), are hoping to add another win to their resume as they hit the road to take on UCF. The Knight sare 1-8-4 (0-2-3) and will be looking for the big upset win. USF needs to come out in this game and not allow the upset bug to get them (game begins at 7 PM).
UCF is led by junior forward Romario Williams who leads the team with 6 goals (54 total shot attempts) and has added 2 assists on the year. Freshman midfielder Matias Pyysalo has 2 goals on the season (12 shot attempts). Senior defender Jake Weiss has scored 2 goals on just 6 shot attempts this year. Freshman midfielder has 1 assist and has taken 13 shot attempts on the season to round out their offensive attack. Spasoje Stefanovic, who has been solid all year, will need to be on his toes in a hostile environment. He can’t allow any easy goals in this game.
In net is redshirt sophomore Zach Biggs (replacing Sebastian Evers). He has allowed 9 goals on the year while making 23 saves in net. Biggs has played well so far this season and will be a challenge for the USF offensive attack. For the Bulls offense led by Lucas Baldin and Tyler Blackwood, they need to be very aggressive in this game and take the attack right at the back line and Biggs. A quick goal or two early could be the momentum shift in the game that the Bulls need to put it away early. Let’s see how it all works out.
