USF MSoccer falls to Tulsa

Posted: October 9, 2014 in Soccer

What a very interesting game. The Bulls fell 4 to 3 to Tulsa, putting USF at 6-4 (2-1) on the year after this loss. This game got really interesting late and there is a lot of talk afterwards.

Tulsa went into the half up 1 to 0. In the 73rd minute, Lindo Mfeka tied it up 1 to 1 (assist from Marcus Epps). Just a minute later, Edwin Moalosi make it 2 to 1 (assist from Tyler Blackwood) put the Bulls up. In the 80th and the 81st minute, Tulsa was able to tack on two goals, making it 3 to 2. Tulsa would be up 4 to 2 before Lucas Baldin scored on a shot to make it 4 to 3. There was some chatter between the two sides after the game as the game ended, but at the end of the day, the Bulls fell. Spasoje Stefanovic allowed 4 goals in this one while making 4 saves. It wasn’t his best game but there are better days ahead for him and the Bulls.

The Bulls will head to Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats on Saturday. The game will begin at 7PM.
