The Bulls beat Uconn tonight in 4 sets (25 to 21, 25 to 19, 18 to 25, 25 to 16), as the Bulls improved to 8-7 (2-1) on the year in a huge win for the ladies. USF was able to take care of business as they got back over .500 in both the overall win column and in AAC play.

Erin Fairs went off in this game. She led the way with 19 kills, 3 services, and added 24 digs. Dakota Hampton had 9 kills and 7 digs. Jennica Mullins had 7 kills and 8 blocks on the night. Amy Van Sant had 12 digs and 2 assists. Alex Mendoza had 26 assists and 9 digs and Olga Morekhodova had 14 assists and 5 digs as well to round out the big win on the night for the Bulls.

This is a huge win for USF. Uconn is one of the better teams in the AAC. The Huskies were sitting in third place while the Bulls sat in 6th, so this will help in the standings. The Bulls will now take on Temple on Sunday at noon as they try to make it two in a row.
