It’s go time.

The Bulls are 6-6 on the year and back on the road as they open AAC play. They will be in Tulsa to take on the 8-3 Hurricanes in a very important AAC opener. The game begins at 8 PM.

Tulsa is led by sophomore outside hitter Erica Bohannon (6’1″) who leads the team with 149 kills, 6 service aces, 69 digs, and has 19 blocks on the year. Senior outside hitter Valerie El Houssine (5’11”) has 119 kills, 23 service aces, and 131 digs. El Houssine is a former Bull, playing for USF for 2 years before transferring out. She was a 2nd team All Big East member during her freshman season and ended her career with 621 kills, 76 blocks, 516 digs, and 77 service aces in 53 career matches for the Bulls.

Rounding out the Tulsa squad is sophomore defensive specialist/libero Brooke Berryhill (5’6″) who has 195 digs and 29 assist on the year. Senior setter Bailey Clampitt (5’8″) has 360 assist on the year (leads the team), along with 19 service aces, and 106 digs to round out their squad.

This will be a good test for the Bulls to open up AAC play. The Bulls were predicted to finish 5th in the AAC, but the conference is wide open. This would be a great chance for the Bulls to get their first win in AAC play on the road against an impressive Tulsa squad.
