USF Volleyball wins both game of their double header

USF volleyball swept both games today improving to 6-6 on the year. With the second win of the day, Coach Draper earned her 200th career win as the Bulls got back to .500 and capped off a solid weekend on the road.

The Bulls took the first game of the day winning in 5 sets over Delaware (25 to 22, 25 to 20, 20 to 25, 19 to 25, 15 to 10) to improve them to 5-6. Erin Fairs led the way with 21 kills, 4 service aces, and 15 digs. Adyson Goodnight had 13 kills in her best outing as a freshman. Bree Scarbrough had 10 kills and Dakota Hampton had 11 kills and 17 digs. Amy Van Sant had 5 service aces and 25 digs. Natalia Soares had 28 assists and 7 digs to round out the victory.

In the second game, the Bulls won in 3 sets over Sacred Heart (25 to 18, 25 to 18, and 25 to 21). Erin Fairs had 10 kills and 14 digs. Jennica Mullins had 6 kills and 2 blocks. Bree Scarbrough had 5 kills and 3 digs. Amy Van Sant had 13 digs and 4 assists. Natalia Soares had 20 assists and 3 digs to end the second game.

The Bulls will hit the road again on Thursday to start AAC play as they face off against Tulsa at 8 PM.
