USF WSoccer beats Kennesaw State

Posted: September 7, 2014 in Uncategorized

The Bulls improved their winning streak to 3 games as they beat Kennesaw State in overtime, improving their record to 3-2-1 on the year. The Bulls out-shot Kennesaw State 15 to 6 and dominated the pace of the game.

The lone goal for the Bulls came in the 98th minute on a goal from Leticia Skeete (assisted by Cristina Ferral). The goal was the 2nd for Skeete on the year. Thordis Aikman had a relatively quiet day at the office, making 1 save. The pace and tempo of the USF offense made it a little easier for the defensive back line and for the young keeper.

This was another great win for their Bulls as they continue to get their momentum going and get their defensive assignments set up. USF will take on South Carolina on Friday night at 7 PM as they begin the USF Soccer Classic at Corbett Field. It should be a very intense weekend for the ladies facing a lot of talented teams.
