USF Volleyball beats South Carolina State in 3 straight sets

The USF Bulls got a strong win over South Carolina State, beating the Bulldogs in 3 straight sets (25-19, 25-18, 25-14). The win improves the Bulls to 2-4 on the year as they split the USF Invitational at 2-2.

Joli Holland had 6 kills and 3 blocks. Erin Fairs had 6 kills and 7 digs while Dakota Hampton had 9 kills and 10 digs. Brittany Kelly had 6 kills and 3 blocks and Amy Van Sant had 11 digs. Natalia Soares had 14 assists and Alex Mendoza had 18 assists and 3 digs.

This was nice win for the Bulls. They took care of business and built up some nice playing time for the younger players. USF will hit the road for the Active Ankle Challenge starting on Friday when they face Winthrop at 5 PM in Auburn, Alabama.
