The Bulls got a big win tonight, beating MTSU 3 to 0 in the Blue Raider Classic. With the win, the Bulls improved their record to 2-2-1 on the year. They will play against Kennesaw State on Sunday at 2 PM to wrap up this tournament.

After a scoreless first half, the Bulls struck in the 48th minute on a goal from Leticia Skeete (assisted from Kate Loye) to make it to 1 to 0. In the 62nd minute Loye got her own goal, making it 2 to 0. Just a few minutes later in the 66th minute, Olivia Chance made it 3 to 0 on her goal (assisted from Payton Lock). The Bulls dominate the pace of the game, out-shooting MTSU 21 to 9 throughout the game.

Thordis Aikman was challenged to much in this game, but she did make 4 saves as she continues to settle into the starting role. She will be challenged with Kennesaw State on Sunday. Let’s hope the offense continues to roll and take the pressure off of her and the defensive back line.
