USF MSoccer falls 2 to 0 FGCU to start the year

The Bulls fell 2 to 0 to FGCU to start the season, starting USF to a 0-1 record to begin the year. It was a chippy game with a few yellow cards being pulled and a few questionable calls late in the game that seemed to hurt a few chances the Bulls had (just going with what I see folks).

USF led 17 to 10 on shots on goal but they couldn’t push one through despite several good looks at the net. Spasoje Stefanovic made 6 saves in his first start in the regular season and played well. The defensive back line was a little shaky at times, but Stefanovic played out of his mind and gave the Bulls all the chances to stay in this game, however, they just couldn’t get a goal through.

The Bulls will face Akron on Thursday at Corbett at 7:30 PM as they try to get the first win of the year.
