The Bulls fell 1 to 0 to UT in exhibition, dropping the Rowdies Cup to the Spartans. Its the second time in three years that the Bulls have dropped the rivalry. The Bulls finish the exhibition part of their schedule at 1-1.

This was a chippy game. USF had 3 yellow card and 1 red card drawn by Nikola Paunic. Offense was hard to come by as both sides had their chances. UT struck in the 86th minute with a goal from Keith Francisco.

USF had the edge in total shots with 19 to just 10 for UT, but it was 6 to 5 in shots on goal for the Bulls. USF was never able to dictate the pace of the game and couldn’t dominate possession of the ball. USF committed 22 fouls compared to just 10 to UT, showing the Bulls were sloppy for the entire night. Spasoje Stefanovic made 4 saves for the Bulls, but the offense could not help him out at all in this game.

The Bulls will begin the regular season Friday, the 29th, as they hit the road to take on FGCU at 7 PM. The offense has to get it together and the defense has to continue to get better with Stefanovic improving in net for the Bulls.
