Tommy Eveld is a back-up quarterback that shined on the scout team in 2013. He injured his ACL in the spring after moving to wide receiver.

#16 Tommy Eveld – 6’5″ 194 lbs. – Sophomore – Quarterback /Wide receiver – Tampa, FL (Jesuit HS)

2013: After a redshirt in 2012, Eveld (little brother of Bobby) was named the Scout Team Award for his work during practice but did not play in 2013. In the spring he moved to wide receiver but injured his ACL. He is not fully recovered and not a go yet for the fall.

2014 Bull Rush Prediction: I was surprised that Tommy moved to wide receiver in the spring or was at least working at that position. He injured his ACL, which will set him really far behind and could take him out for the season, but his chances of playing this year at either position (QB or WR), were slim at best. Hopefully he recovers quickly and can help the team out in any fashion, even if it is just the scout team.
