Ruben Garcia is back and healthy after missing last season after an ACL tear. He will be a key factor on special teams and could push for playing time at linebacker as well.

#48 Ruben Garica – 6′ 244 lbs. – Senior – Linebacker – Plant City, FL (Durant HS)

2013: Garcia missed all of 2013 after he tore his ACL in the spring and went through recovery. Before that, he was a special teams stand out in 2012, recording a tackle in limited playing time on special teams.

2014 Bull Rush Prediction: Garcia was mentioned during the spring as a player that was coming on strong (add weight in the off-season) and could possibly push for playing time at one of the linebacker spots, middle being the most likely spot. While his chance to get a depth chart spot on the depth chart could be hard with several players pushing for playing time, he’ll be a key contributor on special teams. Watch for him to push for playing time early and often throughout the fall.
