Per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports – Per the report, USF basketball has landed another commit, this time from Maryland transfer Roddy Peters.

Peters, a 4-star recruit in the 2013 recruiting class, averaged 4.1 PPG, 2 APG (1.8 TO), and 1.8 RPG in 15.1 minutes per game. The 6’3″ 195 lb. guard shot 40% from the field while adding 19 steals. His playing time was reduced later in the year when Seth Allen returned. Peters would have to sit for the 2014-15 (per NCAA rules) and would be eligible for the 2015-16 season, just like Kareem Canty who transferred earlier from Marshall.

This is just another big addition as Coach Orlando Antigua continues to retool and reload the roster.

More to come, stay tuned.
