The season isn’t over yet.

What a game. The Bulls (43-16) won on an RBI single in the 7th, beating South Carolina 3 to 2. With the win, the Bulls head to the regional final to face Florida State tomorrow at noon.

Again, what a game. USF and SC were tied after the third inning. In the third, D’Anna Devine started it with a single and later came home (after a steal) on an RBI single from Ashli Goff. In the 4th, South Carolina would take the lead on a solo home run, making it 2 to 1. USF would go to the 7th inning and Courtney Goff started it with a single and advanced to second on a bunt by Veronica Gajownik. After Gajownik, Lee Ann Spivey who was pinch hitting, hit an RBI single to tie the game. After her, Kristen Wyckoff, who had just 5 RBIs on the year, came up and hit an RBI single, winning the game for the Bulls.

Erica Nunn started the game for the Bulls and threw well. She worked 4 innings, allowing 2 hits (both home runs), walking 2 and struck out 3 batters. Coach Eriksen went to the Boss after the 4th and sent Sara Nevins back to the mound and she shut down any counter attacks that South Carolina would have. Nevins worked the final 3 innings, allowing just 3 hits, walking one and striking out one more.

The Bulls and Noles, fresh off of their 11 inning epic battle today, will face off tomorrow, the winner taking the regional title and will head to the Super Regional.
