The Bulls completed the sweep of Memphis today, on senior day, winning 10 to 0 in 5 innings. The win improves the Bulls’ record to 36-14 (10-5) on the season as the ladies continue to play well as the regular season slowly comes to an end.

The Bulls got it going in the 2nd inning after a Lee Ann Spivey single and a Veronica Gajownik bunt that allowed Spivey to come home to make it 1 to 0. Dani Wayt then hit a single and was followed by Kristen Wyckoff with another single, bringing home Wayt. After that, Juli Weber was able to bring home Wayt on another single, making it 3 to 0.

The Bulls would do even more damage in the 4th. Courtney Goff led it off with a single, followed by another base hit from Wyckoff. Juli Weber would then launch a double to bring them both home. After that, Ashli Goff would get on base with a single. Kourtney Salvarola would then bring them both home with a huge home run (go senior!). After that, Stephanie Medina would reach base on a walk and would move up on a bunt from Courtney Goff, allowing her to score. After that, Wyckoff, who had a huge game, singled against and brought home Kaitlyn Santo who was hit by a pitch earlier in the inning. This explosion of runs made it 10 to 0 and it was over in 5 innings for the Bulls as they took care of business to end the regular season home schedule.

Sara Nevins dominated as usual, pitching the 5 innings, allowing just 1 hit, 1 walk and struck out 6 batters. Nevins improved to 23-7 on the season with the victory.

The Bulls will end the regular season next weekend when they head to Philadelphia to take on Temple in a 4-game series.
