Time to unleash Lynch on the AAC.

Redshirt sophomore Aaron Lynch sat out last year after transferring from Notre Dame and is already one of the must talked about players on the USF roster.  He is poised for a huge season.

Aaron Lynch – Redshirt sophomore – 6’6″ 244 lbs. – Cape Coral, FL (Island Coast HS) (Notre Dame) – Defensive end

2012: After transferring from ND, Lynch sat out last year due to those sensible NCAA rules (sarcasm).  At ND as a true freshman (former 4-star recruit), Lynch was a freshman All-American after he recorded 33 tackles, 7.5 TFL (5.5 sacks), and 14 QBH in his first year in college.

2013 Bull Rush Projection: The hype around Lynch is growing every day it seems.  Lynch is on several watch lists to start the season and every media person is asking Coach Taggart about the stud defensive lineman.  Coach Taggart said Lynch is in great shape, understands what the coaching staff is asking of him, and is ready to do whatever it takes to win games for USF.  The projected 1st round draft pick in 2014 should be set for a monster year for the Bulls.  I would expect a lot of sacks, maybe even double digits, and for him to be a monster all year off the edge.
